I'm Ricardo / Richard Szrabe, a concert-standard classical pianist and retired English barrister (formerly Astor). 

That's me in the hat playing a Mozart piano concerto (it's K.41) on Jim Coleman's fastidiously maintained human-voice Baldwin in ~115°F at Sheriff Joe Arpaio's famous Tent City Jail in Phoenix, Arizona. The second piano, upright and very harsh-sounding, is on the left behind the camera.

Building on that gig and others like it, I want to spend some time playing all Mozart's twenty-seven piano concertos in various unusual places around the world with local concert-standard amateur musicians playing local instruments. A self-contained, clearly delineated, no-script, authentic TV reality project:-

• very photogenic: Unlimited interesting locations, people, cultures, lifestyles, situations. No green screen, no AI, no script, no fakery. It's all real

• very phonogenic: Nothing industrial or artificial. Fumigated classics played freshly, my way. Mozart would approve.

It can be done. I've done it. It works both musically and as first-class live and recorded entertainment.

I first want to get some professionally produced and post-produced pilot episodes in the can and onto our nascent YouTube channel. This stage will involve:-

• me playing Mozart piano concertos 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 on a grand piano with concert-standard amateur string players (2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello)

• playing in some unusual venues in unusual locations. Ideas include a zoo, prison, hospital, factory, office, submarine, operating theater, mortuary, laundromat, bank vault, prize fighters' dressing room, etc.   

• trying out some formats, practising with freelance videographers and sound recordists, and some basic marketing.
